So Joe Girardi comes to Jets practice and shows Mark Sanchez how to slide feet first so he would be less likely to get injured. Mark goes out last night and what does he do, he slides head first and injures his knee. Not only is he dumb, but he doesn't listen. I loved seeing Rex Ryan rip him after the game.

Charlie Weis is out as Notre Dame's head coach.

I know this may be a shock to all of you, because NOBODY was expecting this to happen and there was NO BUZZ in the media about a coaching change in South Bend whatsoever, but I can assure you it is indeed true, that it's not a lie at all.

I'll just give you the link and give you all time to absorb this incredible, unbelievable news, and come to terms with it.

Zanesville, Maysville and New Lexington remain members of the South Central Ohio Conference (includes Lancaster, Fisher Catholic, Logan, Unioto, Zane Trace, Chillicothe and Huntington [new entry]). Our three locals alogn with Lancaster and Fisher Catholic are in the North Division, and will start the season Saturday...

They now travel to scenic Detroit next friday to play in the MAC championship for the right to play in the ganddaddy of 'em all, the 11th GMAC bowl in beautiful Mobile AL on Jan 6.

#9 Pittsburg - How in the world they got here is beyond belief. They SQUEEKED by ND, Rutgers, and Connecticut, having Zero games against "decent" teams. What's left? West Virginia and #5 UC. We need Pitt to lose to WV and beat UC.

Not that I am a Notre Dame fan, but the whole Charlie Weiss thing has been interesting. I remember when he was hired, my ND buddies were jacked up to finally have a coaching genius. But for whatever reason, it never happened. Any suggestions why?

Also, if coaching change is to occur, there has been alot of talk about Cincinnati Bearcats coach Kelly being the likely replacement. Had also heard Northwesterns coaches name being mentioned. But today, the Chicago papers are saying...
