I stayed and watched the middle school race , the Paul girl from West M looked really strong as did Denae Forgrave from Sheridan . These 2 girls gave the boys
a battle , could be alot embarrassed boys this year with these 2 girls running this well already this season .

After reading the CC scores for Tuesdays meet, I think the other MVL runners might want to keep an eye on Maysville. They must really have some talent deep
into their team.

Whenever someone catches a link to the TR for XC articles, please post them!
Also - Sheridan has not received the results from the meet at Dillon Lake. Could someone message me privately so I can get in touch with the TV coach? Or - Email me at sheridanxc@hotmail.com

This is college related, but still worth noting. Great start to the season for Kim Chinn, OAC runner of the week.
Chinn named OAC Runner of the Week BEREA - Baldwin-Wallace College sophomore Kim Chinn from West Muskingum is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Chinn earned the honor for her efforts at the season-opening Bill Sudeck Case Western Reserve University Invitational Meet at the Squire Farms in Hunting Valley, Ohio. At the CWRU Meet, she led the Yellow Jackets to a fifth place finish as a team as she completed the 5K course in 19:17.00 overall and placed fourth individually of 139 total runners. Last fall, Chinn was a key member of B-W's 2007 OAC-champion cross country team, and earned All-OAC accolades in three events (second in the 1-mile run, second in the 1000-meter run and first as a member of the distance medley relay team) as she helped the indoor track team win the 2008 OAC Indoor Meet title and earned All-OAC honors in three events (second in both the 800 and 1500-meter runs and first as a member of the 3200-meter relay team) as B-W finished second at the 2008 OAC Outdoor Championship Meet. Sorry if I should not have copy and pasted, but I couldn't get the link to work. |

Very cool, West has had a few runners go on to have very successful post-high school careers recently. Pat Harvey (I believe that is his name, please correct
me if I am wrong) has run some great marathon times in the last few years.

Just to let you know, Maysville had the 4th and 12th place girls. They took 4th place overall in DII. Not bad for just 6 runners.

Morgan has a lot of girls that are out and they aren't running because of injuries and being sick. What do you think will hold for their future when they
have a healthy team???

Hard telling on the Morgan issue. What is their background? (Past times)
Also - Maysville WAS third at the Fairfield Union Invite. Sheridan won on a tie breaker with last year's third place team (?) Canal Winchester. However, SHS's sixth guy did not run well... More importantly Canal's second runner pulled himself at the 2 mile. Maysville did run very well! Should make for a good race at the MVL Championships! |

the next 2 weeks will show who wants the MVL title the most in the MVL boys race , this Thursday Morgan , TV & Maysville do battle , this should be a great
tri meet !!!. Next Week Sheridan , Morgan meet each other along with Crooksville . With Sheridan and Morgan boys still undefeated , should be interesting to
see how it all shakes out . Keep working hard Sheridan boys , no time to rest now . Finish the season strong and bring the MVL title home with you and get
ready for the Districts and Regionals !!
PS , is the Sheridan < Morgan > Crooksville tri meet at SHeridan or Crooksville this year ?? |

the meet will be held at Crooksville this time. And last night the Morgan boys took home the title against Tri-Valley and Maysville. Leading was Crosier(sorry
if i spelled it wrong), then 2 Maysville boys, followed by Morgan's Zak Smith (junior) and senior Caleb Clawson. This obviously still leaves them
undefeated and an excellent candidate to win the MVL title. Good Luck Boys!! As for the girls I'm not so sure about those results. But every team ran well.
But also last night was senior night for the Raiders good luck to all the Morgan people and I hope your senior night was one to remember.

Sheridan boys are also undefeated , so don't count them out for the MVL title . The race next week @ Crooksvill with Morgan and Sheridan will decide the
MVL title for the boys . Good luck Sheridan boys , continue to work hard and show up ready to do battle next week !
