No its not a misprint. They really had 22 yards passing...that has to be some sort of post merger record for passing suckness (tm fish82)

any one particular religious faith is never a happy arrangement for the people.

2 for 17 is what I was told but I haven't confirmed that by checking the box score. 6-3...Did someone hit a three-run homer in the top of the 4th quarter?

Whew, I was afraid that the Browns were going to go winless and actually have a coin flips chance with Oakland for Colt McCoy. Now all they need to do is go
ahead and beat Oakland later in the year and that will put them out of the Bradford spot as well.

The Browns would be silly not to go after Tennessee saftey Eric Berry in the first round. This guy is a flat out playmaker.

Three thoughts come to mind... A.) Mangini is an idiot. B.) The Browns are moreso a group of idiots for hiring him to begin with. C.) Why would you have a previously injured rookie without pads practice against players wearing full pads? At what point does that sound like a good idea? |

bluedevil, the Browns have taken QB's and RB's in the first round and have had little luck. You can get a QB or RB in the second round. They seem to
play harder if they go later to prove themselves. Eric Berry is just what they need on defense a playmaker. He is a Polamalu, Bob Sanders type player.....he is
what any defense needs.

Bob Sanders (always hurt) and Troy Polamalu are indeed great players, but they were mid 1st round picks and are helping really good teams. If you put them on
the Raiders, the Rams (sorry Rev), the Chiefs or another crappy team you would never hear of them.
The Browns defense is not the problem, they are so bad on offense that they HAVE to go QB or RB to get a difference maker. IMO, they are not in a position to fill a luxury position like safety. Taking a QB in the 3rd round gets you a project. So I guess you are confortable with DA grooming your next signal caller for a year or two? Interesting! Line line line always build the line. Running backs have far too short a shelf life in this league to use an early 1st round pick on them IMO. One good tackle
on the right side would make a world of difference on this team.

The only QB I would like to see the Browns get is McCoy. I am not sold on Tebow as a star QB in the NFL or Bradford. McCoy is fast, physical and he can throw.
I don't know much about the RB class coming out.

From what I have seen on mock draft sites, Jimmy Claussen is the top rated QB prospect for 2010, right now.
Javed Best is probably the #1 RB. "If practice makes perfect, and no one is perfect, why

You can count on the Brownies taking another WR in round 2 again....and again.....and again. Even if they don't need one.

DA's QB rating allegedly was the lowest since 1970. But, at least he was consistent - 1 for 8 in the first half, 1 for 9 in the second.

I guess the 3rd round pick Cleveland received for Braylon is a conditional pick and could become a 2nd rounder based on performance. I'm surprised the Jets didn't sucker the Browns into taking a 4th if Braylon drops x amount of passes. At least he's off to a good start. Unfortunately, he'll probably cost them a game with several drops. |

I thought the running back they have looked pretty good. Plus they have a pretty good rookie that is hurt. I guess if you think McCoy is a Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco then he might work? Remember, those two went to very good teams that were already in place. I say trade out of that first round pick, bank the money and make your next picks count. That is where you find the players that will be starters and add depth to your team. I agree with the Offensive Line comment. Joe Thomas has worked out. Maybe they should take the best OL in the draft? As long as he is not from the UUUUUUUU or from _eeeeeeeeeeechigan!!!!!!!!! |
