I forgot about Best.....he is a beast. The RB from WV Devine (sp.) is good too.

The only thing I would worry about with Devine is his size ... but then again, if you can't catch him, you can't tackle him.

I think we lose 41-10 this week. This should be moved to the non sports thread, because what they play doesn't resemble any sport I know of.

I hadn't realized the Browns deemed it not necessary to use Cribbs against the Packers. Saving him for the Bears next week?

LOL, He is the only weapon we have so they need to find some cute and creative ways to get him the ball. They better make their first round selection a good
one. It must be an impact guy. Someone who can come right in and star because they don't have one of those right now. I think the rookie WR from Georgia
will be good but they are asking a lot of him right now. The QB situation is a mess. I don't think that Mangini has "his guy" at QB whoever that
could be. They run a 3-4 on D which takes very skilled backers to run effectively. They have Wimbley who is decent at best and Jackson who is hurt. I just
don't know which is worse the offense or defense. Why doesn't Lerner just put the team up for sale? It all starts at the top.

Per the quarter back situation (and I'll admit to being positively biased toward Quinn), I am not convinced Anderson's emergence was based on
Quinn's performance. I have this unsettling sense that this move had something to do with bonus money. If Quinn has had his "chance", I hope they
trade him so he can move on. I know this is the kind of stuff you hear when a team is struggling. Man, I can hardly believe Buffalo has won two games.

I totally agree about the bonus money. They need to trade him for more picks and just load up on this draft. It is too bad it didn't work out because he is
an Ohio guy and everything. I think he will be a good QB, just not in Cleveland. I don't think he started 6 games.

I don't think Dan Marino could get this team to score. That being said Anderson has set the suckness bar at an all time low. I like Quinn as well but I
don't see much point in running him out there to get killed. The heck with drafting impact(read "sells tickets") players. Use high draft picks to
secure linemen and defensive players, especially linebackers. Skill position guys are a dime a dozen in this league and have far too short a shelf life to
waste top 10 picks on when you aren't established across both lines.

jda66 wrote:Pretty close. You must have had Cribbs returning a punt for a TD in your scenario. Of course, you'd have to hold them on 3rd down to get them to punt. I like baggin on the Browns as much as the next guy, but this is not funny. They have to do something, and do it quick! "If practice makes perfect, and no one is perfect, why

The thing I don't understand is how can you NOT put Quinn in the game during the last quarter. I agree that it probably is the money issue that is keeping
him out, but he won't get enough snaps in garbage time for that to be an issue. At least you would find out if he is progressing any for next year. Maybe
they are not playing him in hopes that his trade value won't go DOWN anymore then it already has. I know Anderson's can't go any lower!!!!! Also,
why not give Cribbs a shot at the Wild Cat? It couldn't get any worse!!!!!
Also heard yesterday that the Browns have 11 draft picks next year!!!!! I wonder who is evaluating the college talent.
