What Cort brings to the floor this year can not/will not be measured in pure stats. He is mentally a Beast that refuses to be defeated. That winning mentality is infectious and will only help this younger team take the next step. As for other potential players, I think Derrick Mattice may be able to contribute some as a spot-up shooter. I've seen him go on crazy hot streaks from the 3-line. I also like the workman-like effort that Brandon Sigler has shown on occasion. I could see him being an "enforcer" type of player when needed to help protect some of the bigs.

I also think there is a lot to be excited about with this group. Not meaning to already look beyond this year, but most of this team will be in tact next year as well. Let's give them a chance to progress and compete.

lol.....I think little Horsley traded the extra 2 that was credited to him in football to Busby for this basketball season. If not mistaken, the trade was for cheesy meatloaf and a side dish to be named later. I think I did overhear him say if 2 buckets of ice cream (sprinkles included) were to be offered, he could get by playing at 6'0 this year....
