I'm shocked that a team with such high expectations doesn't have any preseason chatter. Football is over, where are the John Glenn faithful?

Still shell shocked from the football season, I think we will be a contender this season several returning letterman. Metry should play strong inside and has
the ability to move the ball, Heagan will score and should draw alot of attention from the defense. We had a kid who was jumping up and changing the lightbulbs
in the gym all summer long and he hurt his knee in football, he could be an exciting surprise if he's healthy. I think Crawford will step up and contribute
to the team sucess, he's smart and tough inside the lane, uh no pun intended.
Scrimmages are coming up, lets go boys! Go Muskies!!! |

Athletic group and experienced. They will be in every game. Can't see anyone blowing them out so they will be in the title hunt for the MVL. A lot depends
on how a couple of boys step up or don't. Heagan will be double teamed so if the other players, especially Metry, step up then this team will do fine.

Extremely athletic group. Wondering where the perimeter shooting will come from. Jake is a slasher with a midrange game. I noticed teams who played zones last
year (Sheridan) gave them some trouble and they lost their best perimeter shooters in Karling and Fraunfelter. Should be a very good team though.

there are a few guards that can shoot from outside, i don't think we will have to worry about that too much, should be a good year for the muskies.

starting 5.....Jake Heagen, Rob Metry, Avery Allender, Laine Crawford, Guy Long
bench.....Nick Fraunfelter, John Brothers, Tyler Scurlock, Drew McCulley, Austin Ross should be a good year for the muskies. they bring back a lot of experience. the biggest question is who is going to fill the void at point-guard and who is going to take over from the perimeter after having lost Fraunfelter and Karling. any of these guys have the ability to step outside and knock down a big 3. coach woodard always gets his boys fired up and always has physical competitive teams. the way i see it JG is a leading candidate for the league title and heagen is the front runner for the player of the year. Go Muskies!! |
