JG girls lost last night to St. Clairsville 0-4.
St. Clairsville will now play River View for the District Championship. I'll add that St. Clairsville has a DI bound senior in Jaclyn Dutton who is now the career goal scorer in Ohio with 196 goals to her name. She will be going to play for ACC Clemson next fall. She is also tied for the goals in a game with 13, with a thrashing during the regular season finale of 14-4 over a West Virginia team. |

Yeah, JG's season ended last night. Outplayed St. Clairsville in my opinion, held a 30-8 advantage on shots. Unfortunately, we couldn't hit the target,
or when we did strike it on goal, it was straight at their keeper. Credit to St. C for finishing their opportunities.
Great season by the girls, set the school record for wins, and won a 2nd consecutive sectional title. |

TV girls are now done, they lost to Marietta 2-1.
MVL soccer is done for the 2009 season now. The release of the All-MVL teams should be released soon. Along with the All-District honors soon too. |
