Goo. That school is out in the middle of nowhere in Brown County. You're talking a VERY long drive for Zanesville. Google Maps says around 3 hours. It's 45 minutes due East from where I live in Cincinnati. Maybe if I'm still living here I'll make the trip over and support the Blue Devils! That would be pretty cool.

As for the reasons why im not sure but I think a lot of it had to do with being close and not another 2-3 hr bus ride to play someone. It could also be that Sheridan could not find someone else that had the first week open. Anyway you look at it both teams are going to come out hard and who knows it could turn into another rivalry. Past season are in the past and anyhting can happen in a year.

Maybe Sheridan is getting some thing lined up for that 5th year. Its just to far out to know who is going to be on top that far out. With that said maybe by the third and fourth year of the contract Lakewood could improve.

I believe they had zero wins last season in the system .

When we were having our run of bad football there for a few years, the Nerk people wanted to end the series because we weren't generating enough points for them, and especially so since we were only a D2. Now the shoe is on the other foot (as it was in the mid- to late-1990s when we thumped them regularly). It appears Nerk isn't going to be very good at all for at least a few more years, too. But it's probably not likely to end after playing them 105 times so far.

There is no such thing as a Transitive Property in high school football.

Waterboy Posts: 21 (11/10/09 10:32 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	that is what i tried to tell people about newark catholic's non league games. fisher had been good the years before we scheduled them. amanda was bad last year and good this year. centurburg is normally not good but i bet that is all they could get. it was worse in the ccl with 2 football games and 8 non league. 2 posters are saying we might be playing nelsonville week 2 the next 2 years with the first at nelsonville. i hope we can win and they win so we can get back into the playoffs. d6/div 5 double header at zanesville this saturday 1pm grove city christian vs shadyside and 7pm amanda vs coshocton. a msl-ecol showdown.
